Cricketer Cup Draw 2025

OHA will play Merchant Taylors in the first round!

The Cricketer Cup, founded in 1966 by Tony Winlaw and Henry Lewis, began as a cricket competition for public school alumni, inspired by similar events in golf and soccer. Supported by The Cricketer magazine, it debuted in 1967 with 16 teams and expanded to 32 in 1969. After The Cricketer withdrew support in 2003, participating schools formed their own committee to continue the competition, retaining its name in honor of founder Ben Brocklehurst. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017, the Cup marked the milestone with a grand dinner in London and a special event at the final in Arundel.
